PROTECT YOUR PUMP
SAM (short for System Alert Monitor) is your pump station’s constant companion, providing enhanced remote monitoring capabilities to protect your system. Compatible with a variety of pumps and panels, SAM can be added to an existing system or configured when ordering new equipment. SAM hardware is a standard in all Sierra Peak panels, so for recently installed equipment, coordinate with your local distributor to activate the remote monitoring system, setup alarm notifications, and obtain credentials for access to the monitoring website!

Benefits of SAM
Reduce unnecessary service callouts for "false" alarms
How? Trained, authorized technicians will review your site data before scheduling field service and may be able to provide an over-the-phone solution, which avoids a costly field callout with an easy fix.
Replace service contract for on-site preventative maintenance and inspections
How? An on-site inspection will show the system condition at a single point in time, though SAM monitors the equipment continuously and provides valuable performance data over a period of time. SAM can indicate when the wear components of a pump may need replacement or if level controls need adjustment to avoid nuisance alarms, all without the need for a visual inspection.
Troubleshooting data is available to service provider prior to their arrival on site
How? When you call for service, the authorized technician’s first step is to review your site data. This may provide a clearer indication of the issue, so the technician knows where to focus when they arrive on site, which reduces the time and cost of an initial diagnosis.
Homeowner Peace of Mind
How? SAM provides web access to your site data via an internet platform, so you can check in on the pump system day or night. Especially valuable for vacation and second homes, owners will be worry free, knowing that the system is in good condition upon their return. In addition, you have access to local service centers to help interpret live SAM data. Not sure if service is needed? Call and speak to a trained technician for their recommendation!
Notifications for alert statuses and resolution
How? SAM knows that a daily website check-in of your pump system is often the last thing on a homeowner’s mind. So for important alerts, SAM will automatically email or text a notification when the alert has triggered and when it is resolved. You’ll be in the loop for these important events and if the “resolved” notification is not received, then you can take a closer look at the system or call a trained technician to verify station operation.
How does SAM work?
SAM is installed into the pump system panel, using hardware from one of the monitoring component kits. As the panel received electrical signals from the pump, the hardware collects data and sends it to the web platform via a cellular or wi-fi signal. The web platform interprets the data and displays it for active monitoring of each connected site. When an alert condition occurs, the web platform will trigger an automatic notification, advising the registered users of important system statuses via text or email.
